“Good nutrition creates health in all areas of our existence. All parts are interconnected.” - T. Collin Cambell Rose hosts a program about her favorite topic, food and nutrition. In her segment Bite share she discusses the importance of urban food policy, food access, and nutritional education. This show focuses on clean eating, organic food, and eating to optimize your body's functions. Nihal talks about how eating healthy is the best way to keep your body clean and ready for daily liviing. Eating organic and healthy fruits, vegetables, eggs, fish, lean meats, and grains help you become more active and focused, especially when taking a test. He also gives information about the importance of vitamins and how eating well nourishes mental health. Sharanya joins the conversation by offering how to construct recipes that are healthy and delicious. She then reads an original poem she wrote, “Textures” about the beautiful food that Mother Nature provides. We are what we eat. Hosted by teens and teenage field reporters from around the country, Express Yourself! is THE destination for teens to be heard. Within the walls of the young adult community, listeners are uplifted and encouraged to be the stars of your own life. Through collaboration and conversation, a global campus of young people express their views. Topics include anything that kids talk about-books, music, making a difference, technology, school, art, humor, writing, tough talks, health, sports, films, family, friends, foes, fashion, and fun.
