Lisa Schermerhorn's new book was just released a few weeks ago on Amazon. It has already hit #1 Best Seller in 2 categories and #1 New Release in 11 categories. It has been 20 years in the making and in January the title, In Every Belief is a Lie, came to her and then she couldn't stop writing. Seven months later her book was complete. Lisa grew up with un-diagnosed learning disabilities and went to kindergarten a year early. She was the youngest in her class and everyone could read, write and do their numbers. She was lost. This began a cycle of years of feeling stupid, poor grades, spending every summer of her childhood in summer school and getting punished for bad report cards. Her self-esteem was very low, and she thought that everyone was smarter than she was. She gave her power away to anyone who she thought knew more than she did. At one point she became deeply depressed and she didn't want to be here anymore. She was going to two to three therapists per week and no one was helping her. Someone suggested a hypnotist and it changed her life. They were able to get to the root cause of her issues quickly. She then began to realize that she didn’t learn well in conventional settings and struggled with memorizing information, There was nothing wrong with her as she just learned differently than other people. She realized that she was creative, artistic and had the ability to make sense out of complicated problems. She had the ability to think outside the box. Come hear more to her story.
