As a lifelong entrepreneur who dropped out of college, today's guest, Ilissa, felt like a total failure. In her family, "if you’re not in college then you’re doomed". After getting married at 21 and working at a gas station to make ends meet she was working her ass off for $10/hr. After being denied a dime/quarter an hour a raise and told would never leave the gas station, she knew that she was meant for more, but had no clue how to make that happen. After some failed attempts at business ownership, she hit rock bottom in 2016, had a miscarriage the previous year and didn’t want to be doing life anymore. This was her wake up call - SHE KNEW THINGS HAD TO CHANGE. Ilissa kicked off a 6yr+ healing journey to overcome the lifetime's worth of abuse. As a result she was able to financially leave her marriage and grow a business which was what she wanted all along. In 2018 she ran full steam ahead into her destiny. She created her own method, SELFFmade Biz Magic (Success goals, Empowered views, Life goals, Financial Mindset & Friction) and today has a team around her to share her success and growth with!
