Episode Description

Lesli Moore Dahlke joins David Gibbons to talk to her life and trauma, following service in Vietnam for a short while in 1970 with the United States Entertainment Unit. Since then her life has been turned upside down, when in 1990 the onset of a rare cancer retroperitoneal liposarcoma was discovered. Attributed directly to the effects of Agent Orange, a chemical used by US Forces during the Vietnam conflict, no acknowledgment or compensation has ever been offered or provided. The program explores her life and love for this existence, with collaboration of the Agent Orange connection by hematologist oncologist Dr. Davidson.
