Episode Description

Sydney Penny visits Soap Central Live to talk about her time in daytime and upcoming role in a hit primetime series. Penny has appeared on Santa Barbara, The Bold and the Beautiful, but she may be best known as Julia Santos on All My Children. Sydney also has a short-term run on Days of our Lives beginning in late-August. On July 31 at 8pm ET/PT, Sydney will guest star on Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva. It’s been about a year since Ellen Dolan taped her final episode of As the World Turns’ Margo Hughes, but Ellen hasn’t been idle. The actress talks about what she’s been up to (quantum physics?!), including her new role as Truvy in the Cape May Stage’s production of Steel Magnolias. Steel Magnolias runs from August 4 through September 10.
