June 5, 2013
Hosted by Gavin Graham
Again this week, Gavin combines his own knowledge of emerging and frontier markets with the insights of his guests. He’ll start with Richard Gula in New York to talk about how the trends and even the terms have changed in recent years. Then he’ll talk to Waseem Khan from Silk Invest Funds in Baku, Azerbajian for a look at another former Soviet bloc country, this one depending on oil for its future. Then he will head back to Colombia to talk to Rupert Stebbings at Valores BanColombia about Colombian equities, some of which may be in your funds. He will also be on the line to Lagos Nigeria to find out from African correspondent Samuel Okocha which telecom companies are deriving large amounts of their revenues in Africa. He’ll close the program by looking into the various economic forecasts that project greater growth for some emerging and frontier markets than for some developed nations. Emerging and Frontier Markets Investing with Gavin Graham addresses the increasing interest in these markets by meshing Graham’s knowledge of them with current news developments, trends and the insights of expert guests. In fact, the expertise of our guests further demonstrates the seriousness of our approach. They include veteran Wall Street veteran money managers, experienced journalists with first-hand observations and analysts discussing emerging and frontier market developments. Our program comes to investors worried about low domestic returns and those who are aware of the growth and importance of emerging and frontier markets but unclear about the exact opportunities.
