Susan Landay, President of Trainers Warehouse and Office Oxygen, started her career as a clown for Ringling Brothers circus. Trainers Warehouse is the biggest name in training and educational supplies. Susan will share how being a circus clown taught her valuable leadership lessons. This graduate from Yale University and Kellogg Graduate School gives some very practical tips for young women just starting out. Susan is a hands-on executive and her articles have appeared in Sloan Management Review, Pfeifer Training Annual, and Training Magazine. Our Second guest is Dr. Rhoberta Shaler, author of Wrestling Rhinos: Conquering Conflict in the Wilds of Work. She says that if you are more exhausted by the people you work with than the work you are doing, you are most likely wrestling rhinos. With a PhD in psychology and extensive post graduate work, Dr Shaler developed the concepts and solutions in Wrestling Rhinos that she shares with our audience.
