THE IMPACT OF MIDDLE EAST TUMULT, AFRICA AND ARGENTINA
September 4, 2013
Hosted by Gavin Graham
Again this week, fund managers, analysts and journalists share with Gavin their insights of emerging and frontier markets. From London, Thomas Vester of Lloyd George Management talks about the attitude needed for frontier investing. From Addis Ababa, Zin Bekkali of Silk Invest Funds suggests the effect of the Middle Eastern tumult in the region and looks at whether it has created buying opportunities. From Boston, Rich Gula of the Argyle companies revisits the situation in Argentina and from Lagos, African correspondent Samuel Okocha reports on the wealth flowing into Ghana. For the following week, we are working on a report from Colombia with Rupert Stebbings in Medellin, the long-term outlook for emerging markets funds with James Awad in New York and the demographics of Brazil and how they play into the World Cup and Summer Olympics with advisor and demographics researcher Peter Merrick. This edition is produced by Al Emid. For inquiries please write to: firstname.lastname@example.org
