Episode Description

The buzz: IoT and the Enterprise Has your company begun introducing the Internet of Things into your organization yet? If you’ve ventured forth tentatively or not at all, be forewarned! The journey can be bumpy unless you follow basic rules of the road: justifying the trip to IoT, re-mapping BYOD policies to BYOT (Bring Your Own Things), preparing to swim in the sensor-enabled flood of data, avoiding privacy and security potholes, and more. The experts speak. Benjamin Robbins, Palador: “We need to stop talking about the Io’T’ and start talking about the Io’Me’.” Brian M. Katz, Sanofi: “We can connect anything we want to the Internet; but without context, who cares how many times you flushed the toilet today?” Paul Madsen, Ping Identity: “The things you used to own, now they own you" (Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club). Join us for The Road to IoT: Introducing Internet of Things into the Enterprise.
