Industry insider and consumer advocate David Giannetto, author of the new book Big Social Mobile, will reveal the latest tricks, techniques and technology used by today’s most progressive brands to understand, interact with and influence consumers. From integrated advertising campaigns to hidden data collection routines, these companies know more than you think possible—from your demographics, social networks and online behavior to your value system, secret relationships and even your emotional state. This information allows them to craft strategies that influence and manipulate consumer behavior and buying decisions. But consumers—Social Consumers Giannetto calls them—are gaining back power in this corporate-consumer relationship and using these same tactics to shift market dynamics and gain real leverage for the first time since the dawn of capitalism. Join us to learn about this digital battle for power going on to win the hearts, minds and wallets of consumers
