Episode Description

It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad. C. S. Lewis As a human being, you come into this world with a lot of potential, passion and curiosity. As you grow, learn and change, you can lose enthusiasm, energy and sparkle. Remember the children’s rhyme Humpty Dumpty? His world dramatically changed as he fell off the wall. After his fall, how did all of his pieces fit together again? In the real world, sometimes the pieces can’t go back together again – and that’s a good thing. This simple children’s rhyme is a metaphor for human growth. Our expanding awareness means we are going beyond where we’ve been. We are changing and life will not be the same. Discover how transformation can be the very thing you need by joining Mighty Gems to explore the sparkling jewel of Change.

dLee

dLee is a passionate photographer, author, talk show host and businesswoman infusing her life with creativity and positivity. She has spent time walking the streets of her community capturing moments of life and nature through her lens. Through this creative process, she naturally began living with more presence and awareness. Growing up, dLee spent time in her father’s garden where she enjoyed the positive beats of this natural environment. She created and produced summer shows using a stage set, records with music and neighborhood kids as the actors in the stories. For these shows, she managed the players and painted the show graphics on large rolls of left over newsprint paper. She learned valuable life lessons working with these creative productions. dLee was encouraged and inspired by her artist mother and several artist neighbors to play with art mediums just for the joyful experience. Today, dLee combines her love for writing and photography, as her lily pad, to create beautiful wall art, gifts and photo books offered at her website, Photodlights.com. Her latest creative project is Integrating Rounds, an inspirational focused photo and word art collection.
