We'll explore Jung's fascination with the unconscious mind by delving into dreams, visualization and, of course, the encoded symbolism in everyone's astrological chart. Janey McCarthy, MEd, left her technology career behind to become a Jungian Karmic Astrologer after discovering what Carl Jung had confirmed: The natal chart is a sacred, geometrically perfected personal database. Professional recognition as an astrologer and writer came when the website Planetwaves.net chose her article ‘The Silence Between the Words’, from 500 submissions, for the 2014 Annual Edition of Listen. She offers workshops and presentations, and counsels her astrology mentors, peers and clients from the east coast.
Mary Jo Wevers, PhD “re-discovered” astrology late in life, and found it came to her intuitively and easily. An enthusiastic and inspired astrologer for 15 years, she counsels clients, teaches classes and gives workshops and seminars on special topics in astrology. She writes a newsletter and has a blog on her web site, MaryJoWevers.com. She is a featured speaker at local metaphysical schools and churches and has been a conversation leader in the Northwest Astrology and Tarot Salon.
As co-hosts we live on different sides of the country, have different backgrounds, life experiences and life styles. We each bring unique intellectual perspectives to the show. We are ‘Aquarian sisters’ at heart. We catalyze each other’s insights and individual curiosities. Bi-coastal affiliations with astrologers and metaphysical practitioners provide diverse guest speakers on this show. You will find our show fun, engaging, well-articulated and thought provoking!
