A Life Interrupted
December 16, 2015
Hosted by Karen Leavitt
My guest this week is Tim Bransfield, his story and journey: "A Life Interrupted". Tim was in school, an athlete, and successful baseball player when a car accident changed not only his world and perspective, those that knew and loved him as well. We talk about his journey from rehab with the diagnosis of traumatic brain injury and what the road to recovery was like then and now. Since all of this Tim has stepped up to become a published author of his book "A Life Interrupted". We hear about that process, who the book serves, what's next for him. He has also returned to the game of baseball since his injury, which keeps him moving forward, as he says referring to a quote from his favorite athlete Michael Jordan "If you're not trying to achieve greatness, there will be roadblocks. I've had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it" www.ALifeInterrupted.org
The Sky’s the Limit
Archives Available on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel
The Sky’s the Limit is a motivating, inspirational program which is based on my journey from medical professional to patient, highlighting people from all walks of life and various stages of overcoming adversity, their challenges and awakening to the rediscovery of themselves, a transformation. I engage with a number of successful life coaches, authors, athletes and everyday people who discuss their journey and process as well as exploring the concepts of Eastern and Western medicine. We are all learning life’s lessons every day and living in the moment, no matter where we are in our journey.
