Rebound learns the journey of former professional athletes of their rise to the top. Learning from the players themselves of what it was like growing up with basketball in their lives and how basketball has changed their lives. Each player was mentored; Rebound allows the opportunity to mentor back to future Legends through advice from the Legends themselves. Learning “where are they now” and teaching how they “made the game” we find out life before, during and after playing basketball, the pitfalls, highs and lows.

Matt Fish

Matt Fish is a former NBA athlete drafted to the Golden State Warriors in 1992. He played professional basketball for 10 years with such teams as the Miami Heat, New York Knicks and L.A. Clippers. He is currently the Phoenix chapter president of the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA). He was the original Character Coach for Patterson Sports Venture and speaker for the National Collegiate Scouting Association, he taught Special Education for half a decade. As CEO of Sports Media Marketing LLC, he serves as publisher of the company’s publication Rebound Magazine, acts as a company ambassador and participates in the company’s speaking, education and outreach programs. Fish has earned an undergraduate degree in Communications, a Special Education degree and both a Masters of Arts in Education and an M.B.A.
