Rosanne Cash, one of America's pre-eminent singers and songwriters, has fourteen albums to her credit, and eleven # 1 singles. Her albums include Right or Wrong, Seven Year Ache, Rhythm and Romance, King's Record Shop, Interiors, The Wheel, 10 Song Demo, Rules of Travel, Black Cadillac and The List—songs selected from a list of 100 songs given to her by her father, Johnny Cash, when she was 18 years old. Her latest release is The Essential Rosanne Cash (Sony), a compilation of songs personally created by Rosanne over the span of her career. Cash has also made her mark as a writer with a collection of short stories called "Bodies of Water" and a children's book: "Penelope Jane: A Fairy's Tale." Her essays and fiction have appeared in various collections and publications, including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Time Magazine, The Oxford American, and New York Magazine. Her most recent book is Composed: A Memoir, published in 2010 with the paperback edition scheduled for July 2011.
