William "DD" Hoggard

William "DD" Hoggard serves as the Director of Student-Athlete Welfare and is responsible for overseeing all of the student-athlete housing, mentoring and advising programs, transition programs, agent education programs, parent education programs, football community service programs, spiritual development programs, Wolfpack Summer Jobs Program, football lettermen awards distribution and former student-athlete programs. A 1984 graduate of NC State with a B.S. in political science with a concentration in criminal justice, the Windsor, N.C., native was a three-year letter winner for the Wolfpack in football and was a member of the 1979 ACC Championship team. He also earned four letters in track and field. He played professional football from 1983-88, seeing time with the Washington Redskins, Washington Federals (USFL), Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles. While with the Browns, he was a member of three AFC Central Division Championship teams.
