Alan Marr

Alan Marr served his law enforcement career with London’s Metropolitan Police, both in uniform and in plain clothes. In addition, he was posted to New Scotland Yard’s headquarters as a Senior Investigator. Following his retirement from as an inspector in 1991, he opened his own private investigation agency, Jigsaw Services. Alan is a Freeman of the City of London and of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals. He is a Fellow, a Past Principal and a Life member of the Institute of Professional Investigators, both past President and past Chairman of the Council of International Investigators where he received the prestigious Malcolm Thomson Memorial Award as well as the Meritorious Service Award. He is a member of the Association of British Investigators, the National Association of Retired Police Officers, and the Founder and past Chairman of the Lyne Mountain Rescue Team.
