Lisa Doupe
Dr Lisa Doupe holds an MD and is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. She’s a General Practice Psychotherapist. She’s taken special training in primary care psychiatry, cognitive behavior therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy and in disability management and health policy. Her medical practice specializes in care and treatment of persons whose high-risk behaviours led to involvement with the justice system. Her practice provides support for their family caregivers. She’s been a consultant to a community health clinic and to Correction Services of Canada, and involved with projects such as the Canada Round Table on return to function and return to work, and educating future physicians of Ontario in workplace health. She has special experience in addiction medicine and psychotherapy in supporting patients in returning to function. She has extensive experience in advocacy and advising legislatures in North America, Europe and Australia.
