From writing hits for other artists to recording her own, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Nashville based singer-songwriter, has truly embraced musical diversity. A breast cancer survivor, environmental activist, teacher of workshops and lecturer on the magic of creativity, Beth’s passion, is still ‘the song’. Through the amazing journey of her life, her songs always find her delving back into the roots of her heart mining for treasure deep in the trenches of love and life. Beth’s songs have inspired, brought comfort and lifted the spirits of others coming through loss and life’s twists and turns. She has penned numerous hits and written songs for many top artists including Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Bette Midler, Elton John and many more. Beth’s music can be heard on many television shows and movie soundtracks. Beth was Nashville NAMMY'S 1999 Songwriter of the Year. Her new project, “The Mighty Sky” with astronomer Rocky Alvey, is a collaboration of songs for kids of all ages about astronomy.
