Don Ray is a veteran multimedia investigative journalist, producer and author. He has written or produced for NBC, CBS, PBS and Disney, among others. He has written six books that relate to public records, background investigations, document interpretations, privacy issues and writing for the ear. Before Don Ray was a journalist, he worked in law enforcement as a U.S. Army combat military policeman in Vietnam, a Postal Police officer and a fraud analyst with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. For the past 20 years, he has trained tens of thousands of law enforcement agents, private investigators and investigative journalists. He’s trained journalists in Third World countries and other developing democracies such as Nigeria, Nicaragua, Malawi, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzogvina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Poland and the Ukraine. Nowadays, Don Ray is forming a not-for-profit corporation that will focus on preserving all forms of the media so that future generations can enjoy access.
