Diane Ake
Diane Ake is the Director of Training at the Gerson Institute, Volunteer Coordinator and newsletter editor. She has worked at the Institute for the past seven years, starting out as a grant writer and Director of Marketing and Development. Diane has a Masters of Public Health from San Diego State University in Health Promotion. Her past experience includes community organizing in low income neighborhoods to achieve economic and social justice for farm workers and attendant care workers for fifteen years. She also spent ten years in tobacco education and control to help achieve smoke-free workplaces for labor organizations, colleges, bars and other institutions.
