Marissa Leuallen
Marissa Leuallen has worked at Holt International for 8 years with several different country programs. She obtained her Masters of Social Work degree from Portland State University in 2010. Currently, she is the Social Work Manager for Holt’s China Program. Marissa connects with families who in the early stages of exploring the China adoption process. She also collaborates with direct service social workers and reviews adoption home studies, supports families adopting older children, and assists in program supervision. She says that the best part about her job is seeing the hundreds of children who are adopted through Holt each year truly blossom in their post-placement photos. It’s amazing what a nurturing family can do for a child!
