Chris Ruisi
Chris Ruisi, author of Step UP and Play Big, began his 25 plus year career in the life insurance industry. He joined USLIFE Corporation in June 1974 as Director of Personnel. During his career at USLIFE, he held a number of executive positions as he progressed from Vice President Human Resources to President and COO/CEO (and member of the Office of the Chairman and Board of Directors). USLIFE was acquired by American General Corporation (AGC), a $3 billion project he quarterbacked. He remained with AGC as President and CEO and member of the Board of Directors of two of its operating subsidiaries until May,1998. Chris is an experienced business professional with an exceptional record of leadership.
