Deborah Bradbard
Deborah Bradbard joined Blue Star Families as the Deputy Director of Research and Policy in October 2012. She received her Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Auburn University where she also completed clinical training in marriage and family therapy. She also served as Director of the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Victim and Witness Assistance Program. Dr. Bradbard has contributed to a variety of research projects, outreach materials, and national panels providing subject matter expertise on military mental health issues including PTSD, military sexual trauma, suicide, substance abuse, and traumatic brain injury.
