Greg Fripp
Greg Fripp proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy as both a highly rated Officer and Enlisted Member. After completing his military service, Greg had a very successful career in the corporate world ultimately achieving the position of Head of Talent Acquisition (recruiting) for TD AMERITRADE. Greg left that role in 2010 to pursue his passion for growing food and helping people. Greg’s vision led to the creation of Whispering Roots, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing healthy food, education, and living wage jobs to underserved communities by using aquaponics – an integration of aquaculture (growing fish for food) and hydroponics (growing plants in a soilless medium).
