Christine Duffy

Christine Duffy is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Cruise Lines International Association, the trade association representing the $36 billion global cruise industry. CLIA represents the interests of 60 cruise lines, more than 13,000 global travel agencies who reach nearly 50,000 individual travel agents, and over 200 industry partners. CLIA’s mission is to promote the unique benefits of cruising and to participate proactively in the regulatory and policy development process. Christine has been recognized for her industry and community leadership. In 2007, she was inducted into the Convention Industry Council Hall of Leaders. Corporate Meetings and Incentives chose her as one of the “Top 10 Women Leaders in the Meeting Industry,” and Meetings News magazine named her one of the “25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry” four times. She received the New York Councils’ Boy Scouts of America Ninth Annual Distinguished Women of the Year award in 2001.
