Robert L. Surber
Robert L. Surber has over 20 years of experience in electronic components distribution and is currently the CEO of Concord Components, Inc. based in Wayne, Nebraska. At Concord, his experience includes the development of the counterfeit detection program and the acquisition of the equipment necessary for the counterfeit detection, including all test apparatus, software, and procedures. Starting his career at the warehouse gives Mr. Surber an intimate knowledge of the physical aspects of electronic components including marking, lead types, lead configurations, logo identification, as well as various irregularities to be encountered. His current responsibilities also include oversight of the purchasing department and processes associated with procurement. Mr. Surber earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University (now a part of New York University) and a bachelor's degree in Physics from Long Island University.
