Cliff Miller
Cliff Miller is the current steward of Mount Vernon Farm in Sperryville, VA. As the 6th generation of his family to farm the land, Cliff has a deep personal connection to it and its future. After taking over management upon his father’s death in 1998, Cliff has grown curious about cultivating more sustainable, holistic farming practices than are common in most meat-producing operations today. Cliff and Mt Vernon Farm are committed to the health of the microbes, soil, grasses and animals that grow and live on the farm. Through careful land stewardship, unique conservation practices and a natural rotation of multiple species of animals through its grasslands, Mount Vernon Farm produces 100% grass-fed and finished beef and lamb, and pastured pork and chickens.
