Billy Parish

Billy Parish is Co-Founder and President of Mosaic, a solar investment platform. A 2002 Yale dropout, he’s gone from Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Climate Hero” to a top US business leader in solar investing. Before Mosaic, Billy co-founded and grew the Energy Action Coalition into the largest youth organization in the world focused on clean energy and climate solutions. He later developed a proposal to create a Clean Energy Corps to produce 5 million green jobs, which shaped the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the largest green investment in U.S. history. Billy has helped launch dozens of clean energy, youth, and green jobs related organizations and has been honored as an Oil & Gas Magazine “Game Changer,” an Utne Reader “50 Visionaries Who Are Changing Your World” and was elected as a Fellow by Ashoka, the global association of the world's leading social entrepreneurs. He is co-author of Making Good: Finding Meaning, Money & Community in a Changing World.
