Deborah (Debbie) Schmidt
Deborah (Debbie) Schmidt is Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Head of Transformation Office for SAP’s Global Strategic Industries (Retail, Financial Services, Public Services, Telco), a unit created in 2013. She is a member of SAP´s Global Leadership Team for Strategic Industries, reporting to Head of Global Strategic Industries Simon Paris. Previously, Debbie served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Transformation Office for Financial Services, an integrated unit that has positioned Financial Services as SAP’s most successful performing industry segment. Debbie is an active executive sponsor for the SAP Business Women’s Network, and a member of the SAP Global Customer Operations Diversity Committee, a cross-functional team accelerating diversity objectives across SAP’s global field organization. In addition to membership in the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago, she volunteers as a mentor to SAP employees and is part of Menttium, a corporate mentoring organization.
