Kathleen Pasley

A long time seeker, Kathleen Pasley's overriding passion is spirituality. She knows serious depressive episodes first-hand and wrote the book The Ten Mind Traps of Depression: A Hurt in Your Soul and How to Heal It after using spirituality and Western medicine to manage her own disease. In her book, she encourages those suffering from depressive episodes to embrace a spiritual practice to support recovery. Kathleen manages the career of Edemir Rossi, renowned Brazilian spiritual healer, leader, guide, and teacher, in the United States and abroad. She co-authored a book on meditation with Edemir and develops retreats that focus on the spiritual journey. Kathleen majored in English Lit at Manhattanville College and has an MBA from Boston University. She has had a successful career as a fundraiser for international women in leadership; mental health care, people living with AIDS; and science museums around the world. She lives in the Georgetown section of Washington, D.C
