Michel Sérié, Global Head of Service Innovation, Global Services for SAP, is responsible for finding, evaluating and establishing new ways of doing business by improving the Service concept. Under Michel, the Service Innovation team has kept a close eye on game-changing innovation drivers and emerging technology and trends, to create new revenue opportunities. Michel started at SAP France in 1989 as a financial consultant. In 1994, he ran and grew the Services business in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. After working in solution management, in 1999 he was part of the founding management team of an SAP-owned startup dealing with market places, B2B and Portals. This subsidiary grew to 200+ employees. From 2002-2006, Michel set up and ran the EMEA NetWeaver Consulting organisation with 1,500 consultants, before taking on a global responsibility to run the SOA adoption program within Field Services. Born in Paris, he has lived in Italy, Germany, Switzerland and France.
