Itzhak Perlman

Itzhak Perlman is a prodigious talent on the violin who overcame a diagnosis of polio at a young age to become one of the most renowned classical musicians in the world. He has played around the globe with the world’s leading orchestras, collaborated with several other notable musicians, and gone on to work as a successful conductor. By 2013, he had received 15 Grammy Awards and has won 4 Emmys for his work in music. Perlman also uses time to pass his skills onto the next generation as a teacher at Julliard and co-founded the Perlman Music Program in 1998.
