Dr. Les Stein

Dr. Les Stein joined Concordia University Online in April 2013. He began teaching at the college level after a 27-year career as a Marine Corps officer. His areas of expertise and interest include educational leadership, history of American education, education law, organizational development, and human resource management. At Concordia, Dr. Stein teaches EDGR, Community of Learners, which focuses on how educators work with students who have different learning styles and cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. He is also is an adjunct professor at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he teaches educational history and leadership classes in the traditional classroom. Dr. Stein received a B.A. in political science from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, an M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island, and a Doctor of Education degree from United States International University in San Diego, California.
