Dan Birach
Dan Birach serves as president of the HEALTHWORKS Division at Carolinas HealthCare System. Birach leads strategy for long-term health improvement and population management in the business community at Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS), focusing on innovation, leadership and customers. He has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare management and has held executive positions at Alere, Agfa HealthCare and AT&T prior to joining CHS. Birach earned a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on finance from the University of Dayton and a bachelor’s degree in logistics and materials management from Michigan State University.
