John Latimer is the Senior Director, World Wide Customer Quality Engineering at Xilinx Corporation in San Jose, CA. He has over 20 years of experience managing customer quality, management systems, and manufacturing quality both in a fabless manufacturing model and directly in manufacturing. A graduate of University of California, Santa Cruz, John’s specialties include Quality Engineering and Management, Customer PPM Reduction, Return Reduction, NPS, Scorecard Improvement, ISO9001, TL9000, TS16949, CMMI, 6-Sigma Champion, TQM, statistical process control, statistical techniques, and managing international teams. John’s professional engagements include Programs Chairman for Silicon Valley ASQ 0613 and 2012/13 ASQ Speaker Chairman.
