Kathleen Kendall-Tackett

Kathleen Kendall-Tackett, PhD, IBCLC, FAPA is a health psychologist and lactation consultant specializing in women’s health research, including breastfeeding, depression, trauma, and health psychology. She is also the owner and editor-in-chief of Praeclarus Press, as well as the editor-in-chief of both Clinical Lactation (official journal of the United States Lactation Consultant Association) and Psychological Trauma. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Texas Tech University School of Medicine) and Research Associate at the Crimes Against Children Research Center (University of New Hampshire). The author of more than 360 articles, she has authored/edited 24 books, including: The Science of Mother-Infant Sleep (2013), Depression in New Mothers (2nd ed., 2010), and (with Nancy Mohrbacher) Breastfeeding Made Simple (2nd ed., 2010).
