Kathy Jessup



Kathy Jessup is Principal of Kathy Jessup Consulting based in Michigan and is involved in a range of communications products, including freelance writing for publications and commercial enterprises, as well as developing and producing messaging strategies/products for governmental entities. She has also been a freelance magazine writing focused on conservative politics and personality pieces for publications including Townhall and The Blaze. Kathy writes regularly for the Sturgis Journal, spent 35 years writing for the Kalamazoo Gazette and has written for the South Bend Tribune, Detroit News and the Ypsilanti Press. She often covers legal matters and court cases and, most recently authored a six part series on Embezzlement for the Sturgis Journal. Kathy received a BA degree from Hillsdale College in 1973 in political science, economics and biology and a masters degree in political science from Western Michigan University in 2011. Kathy has received numerous awards in journalism during her career.
