Mariah Brown, Hawaii's Business Woman of the Year winner, in the for-profit category. Accomplishments and awards are nothing new for Mariah. She is the Co-owner of 2 highly successful award winning Da Kitchen Restaurants on Maui, whose food and service have been heralded as ‘the best in the islands” from a multitude of TV shows (Cheap Eats, Local Ventures, Travel Channel Bizarre Foods, Maui Today, Channel 8 News, and more), newspaper and magazine articles (Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Maui No Ka Oi, LA Times, Washington Post, SF Herald, PBN, and in the upcoming USA Today), and awards from (Maui No Ka Oi, Maui Times, Maui News, Honolulu Magazine, Hawaii Magazine, Hale Aina Awards, Aipono Awards, Pacific Business News). Mariah also won Small Business Person of the Year for Maui in 2011.
