Amanda Knapp
Amanda is now in her 25th year at RBC Financial Group, with over 2 decades in weatlh management. She is a Vice President, Wealth Advisor & Financial Planner at RBC Wealth Management - Dominion Securities.
She holds a degree in Economics and is a Fellow of The Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) with designations as a Canadian Strategic Wealth Manager (CSWP), International Wealth Manager (CIWM), a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), a Registered Insurance Representative and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Amanda works in a holistic and authentic partnership of professionals founded on
the core principles of integrity and transparency applying these attributes to all business endeavours.
She also believes in giving back and participating in our community, both on a local and global level.
In 2012, Amanda received the Inspiring Woman Award for her work with WOW, the women of waterloo region she founded in 2009. WOW was an annual event recognizing outstanding contributions women made to society. This platform grew to attendance of over 400 in 2014 donating thousands to the United Way of KW. It has evolved into WOWtheworld launching in 2015 spotlighting stories of men, women & youth.
For 2014, Amanda also assumed the role as Campaign Champion for the United Way of KW encouraging participation and donations. She is also a member of the DSAB (Dominion Securities Advisory Board) for Canada and a member of the WAB (Womens Advisory Board) focused on encouraging a career in wealth management for women.
Amanda loves to travel, bike, hike, kayak. She is married to Chris Iles who together amalgamated a family of 3 sons, 2 labs. When she grows up, she would like to be Audrey Hepburn.
