Liz McGowan
Liz McGowan, in her current role as Cloud Strategy Lead for SAP’s Global Public Services Industries, serves as an enabler to help public services organizations move to the Cloud. She works closely with SAP’s customers and partners, as well as the internal organization, to align industry capabilities, deployment models, and the platform. An 18-year veteran of SAP, Liz most recently led SAP’s global public sector technology and innovation product strategy and roadmap, and was responsible for SAP’s Open Government solution. Liz has been active in information technology for over 20 years, with expertise in implementation and project management in public sector, energy, and technology. Prior to joining SAP in 1996, she was a tax specialist with Arthur Andersen & Company. Liz, a resident of Ottawa, is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Master of Science in Biological Sciences. She was educated at Queen’s University and Brock University in Canada.
