Sofia Falk is the founder of Wiminvest, a maverick consultancy firm driven by a powerful desire to make businesses more profitable by creating a better balance of men and women in top management positions. By using the proprietary method The Wiminvest Business Transformer© Wiminvest fundamentally change how business work. Sofia is one of the minds behind Battle of the Numbers, a project where ten of Sweden’s largest companies - including Ericsson, H&M, Ikea, Saab, Sandvik, Scania, SEB, SPP, SSAB and AB Volvo – are making powerful changes in order to get more women into operative management positions. Her company Wiminvest ran the process for Axelerate, helping the Axel Johnson Group to have management groups consisting of 40-60% women and 20% of persons with international background by year 2020. Ms. Falk has also been awarded the following titles by top Swedish business magazines – a top 100 supertalent in Sweden, One of Swedens Super Communicators, Sweden’s most stubborn woman in business. She is appointed as the advocate and the national face of the EU-initiative Equality Pays Off in Sweden. She has been an advisor to the Swedish Government, and has moderated workshops with the Nordic and Baltic heads of state in addition to Britain’s Prime Minister about getting more women into leading positions. She has also been part of a reference group for Hillary Clinton’s international council for female entrepreneurs and leadership. Sofia grew up in Sweden and Colombia. She has a master’s degree in Political Science, Security Policies and Crisis Management and has a second lieutenant degree from the Swedish Defense Intelligence Unit.
