Alexandra Taketa began her career running various non-profit organizations; where she first developed and discovered her passion for leadership and what makes people and teams successful. She is certified executive coach and an experienced Learning and Development professional. Alexandra has held senior Learning & Talent Development roles at Allergan, Gap Inc., and Mercer Management Consulting. She brings her passion and practical knowledge to coaching. Alexandra has worked with senior leaders of many Fortune 500 companies, non-profits and governmental organizations including: Gap Inc., Allergan, Motorola, AdFlight, Hewlett Packard, the Environmental Protection Agency, and Amigos de las Americas. She is the co-author of "What You Don’t Know About Listening (Could Fill a Book)," Business Edition. Alexandra is an expert at creating leadership and management development programs, adult learning, developing competency models, orchestrating succession planning, and facilitating cross-functional and enterprise-wide organization design initiatives. She thrives on working with leaders to build the skills necessary for success. Alexandra is an old soul, a natural teacher, and a masterful listener who brings a rich and dynamic spirit and energy to her work. She and her family are bi-coastal, living and spending time both on the East Coast and Southern California.
