Ms. Farah is President and Executive Director of R.ED.I. Arts and Education Foundation, which produces the prevention theater show and program, STAND UP! Change Teen Statistics. Formerly Kimberly was CEO and Founder of Moves Dance Studio, Inc. and Co-Founder/Executive Producer of Standing O Productions. Kimberly Farah, As CEO and President, founded MOVES – A Dance and Fitness Studio in 1987. Her primary responsibilities included directing the company, inside and out to align with her vision and to strengthen and sustain it on all levels. This has included guiding the management team and employees to insure main objectives are met and that the company continued to grow and achieve its goals. Her role also included overseeing all internal and external components, including client, employee and community relations, maintaining and growing the business, marketing, fiscal oversight and management. Under her leadership the company grew from one rented location with 75 students to acquiring a building that now serves as the flagship location for Moves, establishing a residency program and adding a third location which all culminated into the company ranking in the top 10 percent in industry standards nationwide as she sold it in 2014. Ms. Farah has conceived and produced both national and regional events and conferences and served as a panelist for NIU College of Business, Woman Entrepreneurs. The span of her career in the performing arts has awarded her the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Illinois Arts Council and two nominations for the Governor’s Award for the Arts. She has authored the book, Embracing the Dream, lectured for Columbia College, Chicago, St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana, and the Illinois Theater Festival. She is a member of VISTAGE Chief Executive Leadership Program.
