Val Srinivas is the Research Leader for Banking & Securities at the Deloitte Center for Financial Services, where he writes on a variety of topics related to banking and capital markets. He has over 15 years of experience in research and marketing strategy in the credit markets, asset management, wealth management, risk technology and financial information markets. Before joining Deloitte, Val served as Head of Marketing Strategy in the institutional advisory group at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Val spent over nine years leading the global market research function at Standard & Poor’s. He also worked as an adjunct professor of marketing at Rutgers Business School, where he taught MBA and undergraduate courses in marketing, consumer behavior, market research and econometrics. Val completed his Ph.D. in marketing from Rutgers University.
