Dr. Beverly Dixon


Dr. Beverly Dixon MSPH, Ph.D., HTCP/I As a retired university professor, Bev has both research and teaching experience. She taught medical microbiology to nursing, pre-professional, undergraduate and graduate biology students for over 25 years. In 2000, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach at a university in Olsztyn Poland. During her academic career, Beverly received grant funding from private, state, and federal sources and served as a grant reviewer for several agencies including USDA. She has been practicing HT since 2002 and became certified as an instructor in 2010, she now teaches HT Levels 1 and 2. Recently, Bev contributed to the new Level 2 notebook, writing a piece on Spiral Energy in nature. She is also a member of the Research Advisory Council for Healing Touch Program. Beverly joined the HTWF board in fall 2014, as chair of the Grant Awards Committee; Bev is responsible for managing all aspects of grants awarded by HTWF.
