Sherry Spacco
Sherry Spacco has been a breastfeeding advocate for over 25 years. She received her nursing degree in 1999 and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2005. She currently works full time as a lactation consultant at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Mass. and per diem at Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Mass. She runs an outpatient lactation clinic, one on one support for moms and babies and a breastfeeding support group at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Sherry is a board member of the Massachusetts Breastfeeding Coalition and one of the Massachusetts Representatives to the United States Breastfeeding Committee.
Sherry has lectured and trained staff on the 10 Steps to successful breastfeeding at various hospitals as they journey towards Baby Friendly Certification.
