Dotty Griffith, the Queen of Texas Cuisine, is an Author and Speaker based in Dallas, Texas. She spent most of her 34-year career with the Dallas Morning News as Food Editor and Restaurant Critic. She's the author of nine cookbooks, most about Texas-style cuisine, and is the Editor of Dean Fearing’s The Mansion on Turtle Creek Cookbook. She hosted a radio show about Texas cuisine, In The Kitchen with Dotty, on KRLD radio Dallas. Dotty has written about Texas cuisine for John Mariani's Virtual Gourmet, the New York Times, Gourmet Magazine, Modern Luxury Magazine Dallas, and Houston Magazine. A native Texan, she shares her lifelong love for and intimate knowledge of Texas cuisines, products, restaurants, and chefs with foodies everywhere in various media including print, on the web, live, and in person.
