Marisa Russo
Marisa Russo is a Graduate from Loma Linda University - School of Dentistry. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and worked in private practice for 15 years and was part time faculty in the dental hygiene department at Loma Linda University for 5 years. She is a Certified Nutritional Consultant and a Board Certified Holistic Practitioner. Her passion is in learning the “cause” of diseases and how to heal the body. She became passionate about Holistic Dentistry after she learned about Mercury Toxicity from Dental Amalgams. She is an activist in raising awareness about Mercury fillings. Marisa worked with Consumers for Dental Choice, a non-profit organization and Californians for Green Dentistry in a grassroots project to ban mercury fillings in California. Marisa along with 2 of her colleagues had a huge victory in 2010 ~ just 3 months after they began the grassroots project in California.
