Kenneth S. Sharlin, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Ken Sharlin is a board certified neurologist who has been in practice since 1998. He completed his medical education at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and post-graduate training at Emory Affiliated Hospitals, The University of Virginia, and Vanderbilt University. In addition to an M.D., he has a Masters in Public Health from Emory. His neurology practice is located in Springfield at Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) and the OCH Christian County Clinic in Nixa, MO. Dr. Sharlin became interested in Functional Medicine while exploring his own health and performance as a triathlete. His traditional medical practice reached a crossroad philosophically and practically because he found he could not separate his commitment to nutrition, fitness/movement, and overall health from the management of disease. In 2013, he and other practitioners launched Ozarks Functional Neurology in order to address the growing need for Functional Medicine practitioners in their community.
